Clean rooms, but pricey stay
The staff greeted us warmly, making us feel at home right away. The pool area was enjoyable and a nice spot for relaxation after a long day.
Unfortunately, the hotel showed signs of neglect, broken outlets and strange smells in the hallways disturbed our experience. The breakfast options were very limited.

A step back in time!
The pool area provided a great spot for my kids to unwind after our exploration of Douglas. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee and the room's setup was surprisingly comfortable. Just be ready for some vintage charm that reflects its history, which we found quirky and fun!

The breakfast bar was not winning any Michelin stars, and the room's decor looked like it time-traveled from the '80s! Talk about vintage—what’s next, a rotary phone?

missingWrote a review on 25 Julcentral locationquick serviceswelcoming staffminimal breakfastroom cleanlinesslimited dining
I found the breakfast offerings pretty minimal, with only a few options available. The scrambled eggs not being freshly cooked was a letdown, and the absence of syrup for the waffles definitely didn't help the breakfast experience. The room had red splotches on the walls, which made it feel less clean than I hoped for, but the fold-away cot I requested arrived quickly, which I appreciated. Staff in the hallways greeted me with friendly smiles, creating a welcoming atmosphere, but cleanliness could definitely use more attention. I felt the location was central, making it easy to explore Douglas. However, the overall cleanliness and breakfast experience could use some serious improvements to match guests' expectations with their marketing.
